Stories and Platitudes... page 11

As promised, here are the "Khymera Keys"... pick'em up while they're hot.

The exhausted spider, life apparent

A cute little spider started building his net, all excited and full of energy.

He had hatched not long before and started being on his own.

Instinctively he found a proper spot where he started building his web.

I have to add that this little spider was a bit different from the rest of the hatchlings.

His web took a long time to complete, that due to the complexity of it.

All the rest of the webs looked alike. After having finished his super complex web, he was so exhausted that he couldn’t even muster the energy to go eat the big juicy dragonfly freshly caught in it.

So he died!

Nice web though!

Buffet

The “blind” always grabbed the closest plate of food at this mouth watering daily buffet.

Every day the same thing, same food, so, shortly thereafter after he lost his appetite.

Supposedly the remaining senses on the blind get so much sharper, like smell for example.

He should’ve realized by means of smell that there’s more on the "table" than just the "plate at hand"...

Nonsense!
